The Thin Blue Line UP Law Ride will be Saturday, August 9th.

I would like to have you invite and encourage all our members to attend the Fall Conference for the Great Lakes Region. This is not the usual fall conference where the members meet in a camping area, this is a little more expensive, it will be at the Chula Vista resort in the Wisconsin Dells. I just booked a room with a two double beds and a sleeper sofa for $139/night at the Blue Knight Conference rate (it is $199/night regular price) and it includes admission to the water park. I know this is a little pricey for some but it should be a good time to meet some of our nearby members. I met a few of them this last week and they seem to be a good group and the ones I met were younger which may be good for our chapter.
We are taking our daughter with us and I would encourage others with children to consider taking them also. This means some might have to drive or we can work out car pooling arraignments, this also includes members that can't ride for whatever reasons or would prefer to trailer their bikes. There is a $75.00 conference fee per person attending which goes up slightly after August 1st. I think this is a reasonable fee when you look at what is included.
